Well I guess I will let the cat out of the bag to those that dont know...
start of november I changed my twin su's to a NICE HS6 changed the exhurst at the same time.... I was having lots of trouble getting it to run right... and I was moving house so I did not have lots of time to stuff around..
Wellafter the move i started looking into WHY it was not starting easy and running smooth... well... when my DAD pupt the motor together in tassie he had the dizzy drive Dog 180 out.. and had just set the leads up so it was running fine the way he had done it... But silly me had pulled all the plugs out and changed a few things and put the leads back on in the RIGHT order (wrong to the way dad had it) So this was the start of my problems.... lol after finding the dizzy was 180 out I went back out the the garage to pull the drive out and turn it 180 so it would be in the RIGHT place...
Well stupid me had been drinking and was not really paying attention and let the drive go and it dropped down into the gear box..

and there was no way it was comming out with anything I had.. so I cracked the shits and took the head off. talked to the good Drmini and went down the path of a few head mods while its off... then I took the motor out.. well.. I just cant help but do more to it while its out...
so a simple up grade to a HS6 has now become.. HS6 on minisport manifold, maniflow LCBs and RC40 single box, alden yellow dizzy,1.5:1 roller rockers, RE13 cam, new cam followers, verier belt drive kit, 36mm inlet valves and 31mm exhurst valves, porting, decking, double valve springs bronze valve guides, new pistons and rings for the hell of it, 13 row oil cooler, K&N crank case filter, central oil pick up, hi flow water pump.... this is so far... looks like a few upgrades to the gear box and maybe a little of the top of the block also...
Also a new dash at the same time new guages and also a oxyegen sensor in the exhurst and a/f meter
am I crazy? or is this a normal thing to do?
