Ooooh a Twini ....

I think that one was in Fast Fours and Rotaries in the early 90's .. maybe late 80's ......

Love it !!

There is a video floating around of Issigonis Hammering a Twini Moke through the Snow !!

Cheers

That looks like the one I saw running at Speed on Tweed a month or so back.
Who's the owner?

That's Fred in the top shot, on the right leaning over (and that's my green sprint mini behind him!). The top 2 shots were taken at Qld Raceway and I think this was it's first outing. I can tell you it goes like stick in a straight line and yes, still being sorted. As Kev says, sounds mad. There was a story about it being built in Qld Mini Owerners Club mag last year sometime. The guys spent every Thursday night building it over 18 months, gave very impressive statistics on how many stubbies were drunk during that time. The build quality on this vehicle is very high, a credit to those who built it. Steve

Didn't the Cooper works people call their twinis "Toucans"? (just in relation to the "name" post).

While I was laying by the pool in Phucket I was thinking of something similar but in a Moke.

Love to see and hear this one Run. Very Cool 8)

does anyone know what kinda motors are being run in them? i mean are they the same front and rear? or do they give one more grunt to influence the handling?
