http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 03297&rd=1

Either that or the pulsar dizzy.... dont wanna fiddle sticks around with the pulsar crap tho so i think this is the way to go...

I'll be needing (wanting) leccy ignition for when the supercharger is on.

Let me know if this kit is any good.
I'll get it tomorrow 8)

Cheers

Will.

G'day mate in regards to Pertronix "simple but effective"ive fitted to many cars from 998 leland sunshine , cooper "s" and 350 chevs all noticed instead power increace easier starting and neat because no black box under bonnet.I'm opening a workshop here in wagga wagga in september and will be pushing these.

Yep Pertronix work good, I ran one in Ha-Ha for a couple of years.
I've also used them in Alfas.
Much cheaper to buy from USA than over here though.
Check this site http://www.vintageperformance.com/retro ... /lucas.htm
Order from there, & you will have it in the post at your door in a week.
Note prices are US$...
Post is US$7 I think.

Now, I run Pulsar dizzys- they fire just as good as a Pertronix but IMO are mechanically superior to any Lucas dizzy (they don't have slack in the bearings or advance mechanism). 8)

willy,
Not available here yet probably but there's also a Pertronix Ignitor II, supposed to be even better.
Check the link I gave you above.

willy don't forget you'll still be using the old lucas dizzy base and there will probably be slack in the bearings internally as the doc said..

A qualified tuner has told me that there is not enough advance curve on the Nissan distrubutor.
Each to their own i guess

Okay so i've been down at Brickworx and got myself a nice 45D dizzy.
Its perfect.
And i'm taking the vacuum advance off it (not needed)

Yep
Pertronix kit goes in it tomorrow, then fit the dizzy up and time it and away i go.

hehe.... yeah I saw your car there today... was going to beep.... but with all the rain, and being surrounded by old drivers, i thought it would be safer not to make any loud sudden noises.
