Rims like: 7986380789 (ebay)have a centerpiece which is part of the wheel. These are alot cheaper then the rims with a clip in centerpiece.
Good or Bad?

Different brands.

IMO, the Performance Superlite wheels (which can be got from Bob Jane T Marts) is a better wheel, but it depends on your budget.

yea...depends on budget. I have those wheels and I like them...but if I was cashed up I would buy differently.

They are OK. Offset is not the best. They definitely need 165's!!

For sure, the offset on the Performance Superlites is alot better. The one's he is talking about on ebay do come with 165's though. 8)

If buying Superlites, ask if you can have them with steel inserts for the nuts. The nuts are probably the weakest part of the design. Not enough thread engagement. They strip much easier than (say) a Contess nut...
eh, Josh....

http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_c ... art_no=938

These wheels are made in asia somewhere, but the performance type are australian made. Has anybody got prices on the aussie made wheels? I am after 12' with 165 tyres.

I got a set of 12 in Performance Superlites with Yoko 165's back in 2003. Just keep in mind that though they r a 12in wheel, the inside diameter of the rim is actually closer to 10in. So if your wanting a big disc brake upgrade it aint gunna happen with the Performance Superlites!!!!
