Good to hear your getting to keep him and even better that your looking at repairing him, now you can get a round nose put on while all the other panel work is being done   .

im all smiles at the moment :D. i just realised though that besides getting the panel work done theres some other things on tiny that wont pass blue slip. .

so im guessing no one as a quality smash repairer to recommend?

thats great news tiny

before you get him back home, get Shannons laid up insurance for it. covers him in transit on trailer, and while in the garage.. you're covered if you drop tools on it, paint, whatever.. and only costs ~$10/month.

you also get salvage rights.

good work!

thats what i dont get, i just couldnt be bothered replying though

depends how long your willing to wait joe, theres a guy 2 blocks away from me who does very high quality work, he restores/panelbeats old school corvettes etc, but he quoted me a 6 week wait at least.

doesnt bother me if it takes 6 weeks as long as it gets done though. if it makes the process faster by me getting the bits then ill take the week off to do it

That sounds pretty good Joe , so how bad is Tiny's general condition (rust etc) despite the accident damage ? get someone "in the know" to have a serious look at the shell and decide if it's worth rebuilding him or you're better off buying another shell and transferring all the goodies . No point spending $5K on Tiny when you could have bought a better shell and had it cleaned up for $3K . I know we need all the mini's we can on the road but you've got to look at it logically too .
