Matt so you rattle a bit more - the statins (cholesterol lowering drugs) deplete the body of Co-enzyme Q10 - this provides energy to hard working muscles such as the heart - good idea to start swallowing about 3 a day. Also get stuck into Omega Fish oil capsules - anything from 6 to 12 a day - increases the triglycerides in the blood and helps increase the HDL (good) chloesterol

Bloody Hell  I've not been on for a while so only just read of your interesting day at the beach Matt.

Coulda been worse though.:shock: You may have had to try and stop a Combi form rolling down a driveway in to a house while wearing things, Sorry What? Oh you've already done that one  ......

Best just rest up and get better then. :)

All the best in your recovery Matt.

Cheers,

Dicko.

Wow, out of all the great stories you have ever told that is truly the most amazing. Someone watching over you (or which ever belief is yours).

If you can sometime in the future turn all those positive set of circumstances into your next engine build it will be one awesome motor

Great to hear you are recovering even if painfully for now.

Death sucks, you have too much to do yet. Get well.

Make sure you get any siblings to get themselves checked out ASAP.

Matt

I was chatting to our local ambo last week about CPR and resuscitation (I teach first aid for RFS) and he told me of the hundred or so cardiac arrests he has attended he has only ever brought back three people. That is with the defib and the range of drugs they can now use.

He also said that they really only came back because they arrested in front of him and were still in fibrillation when he was shocking and administering CPR and drugs.

Spend just that bit more on the lottery ticket.

Mike

Well done Matt! Glad to hear you are on the mend!
Now, I know we have argued in the past about which heads are better, what makes more power, etc etc - but this time ill go with you... I honestly think you need to get the BMW Twinky setup for YOUSELF. Replace that tired 5 port heart of yours and throw on some of the sexy CNC bling and the twin-cam - hell, why not go turbo at the same time... you would then be roaring around the surf mate! Then you are walking advertising too :-)

Get well... you obviously have a tough as nails lady there. Good on your Marly.

Cheers,
peter
