I got the majority of my number plate recess done, although I'm gonna have to do some testing:

Quote:
f) Characters on the number plate are not clearly visible from a
distance of 20 metres at any point within an arc of 45 degrees from
the surface of the number plate above or to either side of the vehicle.

At least you remembered to put oil back in it! Last time my car was serviced at a professional Mini garage, I nearly drove away with an empty sump. Noticed it sounded a little rougher than usual, then spotted the oil pressure

Striped down one of my twin HS2 carbies. Dirty, dirty business. Fun though :D

refitted the exhaust to the LS, fixed the leaky heater hoses on the LS, put new battery terminals on Kermy, tightened the sump guard on the matic, and took them all out for a blocky to keep everything moving and lubricated. must be Beer o'clock now :D

Drove it to the panel beaters, (the whole way in the rain. :?) to get the rust cut out, can't wait to get it back now.

Got Stuckey's to fit a tyre to my newly-repainted and polished spare wheel, and also had them do another alignment on their magic measuring machine (after I fitted the last rear adjustable bracket) and rebalance the tyres now that they've worn in a little.

I watched them rebalance the tyres, and it's incredible how far out of round they are. By my eye there was at least 2 to 3mm between max and min diameter, which probably explains the vibe she starts to develop around 100km/h
