I have a question and i think probably Gavin is the best one to answer this,

I have a Black GT knob. It is completley original and has the 3D GT written on it on top
of blue and white checqured background.

Apparently the knob itself should be brown, however mine is black? any insights?

Chris,

Original gear knobs were imitation wood brown plastic. Unsure of the 'black' issue although I've never seen one and am sure I've read some publicity stuff somewhere that states 'wooden style gear knob' or something along those lines. The blue/white checks are right. What colour is the 'GT'?

I'll post a pic of my one today sometime.

Carpet again.

This is from my GT:

The trim colour is 'kidskin'. I have seen brown carpet with 'kidskin' trim, but what would the above colour be classified as?

In the clean parts it looks almost white! :shock:

Who had a Clubman or GT back in the day with this colour carpet? What colour is it?


(this sample came from behind the heater, so I know it is not faded) :)
