Only just got to read through this.

Amazing story, you're clearly needed here, and i'm glad to hear that you are recovering.

The docs should have you going twice as fast in no time.

There's a history of heart problems in my and my partners family, and it is always very hard on the family, make sure Marly and everyone else know how valuable they are.

Take it easy mate.

yeah thanks again Guys

& just to add some recent activity, Both Marly & i went back to Byron today (& no i didn`t have a surf, not allowed yet) but Marly did :-) & anyways, we hooked up with most of the people who helped save my life that day

the ambos, the hospital staff , doctorsa & nurses & wardys & even the dive-boat guys that helped me that day

it was a really really wild emotional experience for everyone concerned but they were all sooo thankfull that we came back & thanked them, :-) we took them heaps of flowers & chocolates & drinkies & they were all just blown away

i`m yet to catch up with the surfers who helped but we`ve spread the word that we`d like to catch up

& the paramedic that helped me on the beach was from Holland so i doubt we`ll be able to catch up with her , but there was an eldery couple on the dive-boat that actually had the nitro/angle spray stuff that also helped keep me alive & i havn`t been able to find them yet either but not giving up

& one of the ambos actually made a special visit to the John Flynn hospital to see how i was getting on & he was told that i "Had gone" ,,,well,,, his heart just sank & started to say "but we got him back & he was so lucky" etc,,, & the nurses said "Oh sorry, we meant that he had gone to another hospital" :-) he was then told that we`d already said that we would come back to see him & all the rest of the wonderful people who helped save my life

so,,, there you go,,, another wild day of wicked wonderfulness,,,then i had to shoot to a doctors appointment this arvo as soon as i got home where everything (x-rays & blood tests & ECGs etc) are apparently going quite well (well,,, ok as well as can be expected after a little dice with death) especially for only 2 weeks on from "The event",,,

everyone involved is totally blown away by how well it all turned out

3 cheers for all those wonderful helpful people who basically got me back from the dead & kept me alive from then on

& a special most awesome mega wonderful (no words can possible ever describe or express my thanks & appreciation & love) for My Marly,,, she`s just awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
