Simon, I am trying to get replacement door and rear quarter cards for my Hi-Ho Silver 1275LS.

Do you think your man would be able to reproduce them at a reasonable price - they are unique to the LS and contain a heat produced line and a chrome strip rectangle.

I have the originals but they have shrunk and I haven't been able to successfully stretch them - the backing boards are US, but I have new boards.

Regards John Kornbrekke
Those pattern cards have been remanufactured in the past. I think the company was called polyweld and they were in Sydney from memory. This fella maybe able to do it also

Have you sourced any chrome trim, that would probably be the hard part.

Bubbacluby, I have all the metal chrome trim, ie. Door card and rear quarter card holders. The chrome trim I referred above is the plastic mould on the card itself and this is readily available through places like Rarespares, Autobarn etc.

A friend recently got Mark 2 style door cards made for his 1970 Cooper S at Bulldog Trimming at Beaudesert in South East Qld. He was really impressed by the quality of the work.

Attached photos as requested.

He made his own cards from small sheets of Masonite that he got at Bunnings.
He had to pick through a big pile to get the thinnest (correct thickness) so that when the foam &
Vinyl are added it would fit into the door slot & stainless strip at the top of the door.

He had 2 pair of fronts made (one for himself and one for his son). Bulldog supplied an excellent vinyl with texture &
çolour very close to the original.

I sent him an e-mail and asked about price. He should get back to me tomorrow.

I saw the upholstery guy today, he can't do the LS door cards, he can do the GT stitch pattern but would need to have a die made. He did find some pieces of the basketweave pattern in amongst his material collection.

His name is Lloyd, Beachys Upholstery. 0439 713 962
