This was exaxtly the same hassle I had several months back - the good doc. saved my skin then and looks like he's done it again for you Pat.

Doc......you're a good guy to have as a resource here - I bet there's nothing about Minis that you don't know about - you're a bloody marvel.

All is fine I have got the follower back in and it was sitting next to the pushrod sitting up it was just not where it was supposed to be

So it is all fixed now all to do is put the mani back on and put the carby back on and put the linkages and pipes back on everything and hopefully it won't blow anymore smoke
