Mike,
As Kevin says OZ built cars had twin tanks as standard from the beginning of production right through to the end of Clubman GT production. English built cars had them as an option until 1966. They became standard on English cars from 1966.

Regards
RonR

Hi,
Very early Mk1 Cooper S's had holes punched and clips not tags on the right hand side for the breather tube. These clips were on the opposite side in the same position as the left side tags. Later Mk1 S's had the spotwelded breather tags identical looking to the standard left tank breather tags. Early Mk1 S clips were spotwelded but look different than the flat normal tags.
Thanks

Of the 7500 odd Cooper S?s they built in Australia about 25,000 of them are still left because everyone thinks he?s got one.

How true is that!!
