if it is an issue chong, get it round here, not too far from ryde, i have all the tools you will need and more. Just don't expect an accurate torque wrench.

Cheers

Aaron

hey guys...
thanks for all the input/patience/trouble/care etc

well i got my tools ready yest(some bare minimum i could lay my hands on) but realise the hose ive got was the wrong size...thus today after getting the tools i needed i hit straight to it...

so me and a mate had a little trouble with the nipple initially as it was too cramped up..
(i didnt take out anything cos i was worried i shouldnt..)
anyway yea..nothing big...i reckon..but still it was an achievement..must say its my first virgin experience with my car and her nipple...hehe..im glad it went well

took it for a spin...seems alright..and smoother compared to the past...but whilst changing the fluids i noticed there might be a point thats leaking..but still..going to monitor it for awhile..if it leaks..another job to be done...and im looking darn forward to it..

and finally getting my manuals delivered to me soon...cant wait..its a little too NAIVE to work on a car when i dont even know my basics or have anything to refer..

*PS--wonder if you guys rembered your first time doing the car yourself.the satisfaction is really beyond words.

extreme thanks to people who advised me along the way
esp chong and josh...cheers

My Pleasure Don! Glad you're back on the road.

Yes I remember when I did my first thing on my car without knowing anything about cars... it was slightly tougher assignment than yours asi had to replace all inner and out boots which meant dismantling the drive train. I learnt HEAPS in a very short time! It was very rewarding.

Hint: without this forum and the people on it, I'd be up the proverbial crap creek still today! 8) So stick around! you'll learn heaps!
