not much changed on mine from last time, new spark plugs, oil and some piping, looking at cracking 160hp@wheels on 12psi.

My mates' Group Nb racer (only 1293) managed 87.7, and its a home-built motor.

Thats quite an effort, me thinks.

I am hoping for over 40hp. If I get 45 I will be over the moon!

Kev I bet Haha has 90 horses at the wheels at about 7400 rpm. That is my guess 8) Talk about a wild guess ey?

We'll I got Morris to 45.2 and that why Joshy is aim for this
So I'm Hopping for more this time also, not that I have done much to improve him

Brad I think you should try the Nil boost just to see the differance..as long no dramers willcome of it and so you know if some maybe amiss

The real chalenge will be...Dr and Kaz  can't wait to see this one

I think thier will be a few lurkers and a few more that will have a go and then get beaten and then do a few adjustments and have another go again
as per last year 8)
I must admit I may have to do this

I'll be stocked if over 70hp, but worried mostly about the torque reading and not expecting a great result. The head is very good + RE13 + DHLA45. But the manifold is restrictive - we'll fix that eventualy (thanks doc) but not before the dyno day. The car can still fly but the torque is crap.

I'm getting a new dizzy cap tommorow (Pulsar dizzy, and the cap is worn) and maybe new leads. Will try and tinker with the timing and also clean and reoil the air filter. So we'll see.

You wont have to worry then mike as you don't get a torque reading...

The chart has your HP and A/F Ratio on it only..

HP = torque x RPM / constant. So torque does count... 8)

you can get a torque reading, just ask him to put it up on the screen when its done the dyno run, the printout can only have 2 displays so we use horsepower and airfuel ratio. Turbo guys can have boost instead of airfuels.

Gafmo, i dont think we will have the time to put cars on for more then 1 run, if you think something is a miss then you will have time while its strapped down to tinker with it and get that extra 1hp needed to win :D

Just have your tools ready when your car is getting strapped down.
