Don't worry Camel.

Oil companies don't care about Australia and the tiny proportion of the oil/petrol pie it consumes.
In the big scheme of things we are insignificant. 20 million people... they have country towns larger than this in other countries.
Why try keep one small country happy(OZ) whilst the rest of the world is content or paying more in some cases(england)

thats cool 8)
i only buy petrol once a week..
doesnt everyone else do that..hehe like pay day fill her up once a week?
and occasionally weekends, if thers a big cruz or somefing..
yeh hehe now they r saying on the tv/radio media etc, that the whole economys going to go haywire, coz familys n stuff will want to travel less coz the fuel prices will shorten their trip..
anyway, its not just jonny and his .38c tax, the ACCC should also be keeping an eye on things..yet again they prove that they will wait until some1 else notices something..then look at it (soz studying HIH and its just funny no1 noticed)

i have so far received phone calls from the heads of 3 of the 4 oil companies. they have noticed our solidarity in action, and the fact that there were no cars on the road yesterday, and want to know our demands. the guy from Shell may even have been crying on the phone to me. we have them people. i can hear the oversupply crippling them as we speak.

A no fuel day will never work as it is just a plan simple impossibility for it to happen as pointed out in previous post and other reasons which are boring as bat crap. The fed gov. lowering its taxes is not the answer either cos if they do another tax will appear or GST will go up to cover the billions lost in fuel revenue. The answer lies with the big 5 oil companies and OPEC to increase oil supply and the big 5 held accountable for profiteering, hell they did it for war profiteering!!!!. It is hard to compare other countries and prices they pay for many reason, CPI and many other reasons to. Anywho we need some people with balls to stand up to the Oilies and Sheiks. That?s my thoughts.

Maybe everyone should drive a mini then they would use half of the fuel than the city cowboys and the v8 bogans plus if they run out they would be able to push the cars instead of ringing the RAA 8)
