One of my friends cars has the same guage and I have only seen it move just off the C which made me wonder if it worked properly, but he ensures me it does but around the N is normal as far as I understand :D

Am i your friend?

Hehe... i reckon i'd have the coolest running mini in Adelaide.
NEVER gets off C.
Only ever seen it come about 1/3 of the way to N, which was when i had a leak in the radiator (pulled it out and replaced, soldered, whatever they did, on Tuesday).
Damn i'm lucky :D

Mine is always at just above "C". Has crept to mid C and N but on a very hot day on the Monaro Hwy in stop/start. I have a Morris 1100 radiator in the clubby and works a treat(yes it fits without tin work)

I also run the clubby heater core on the driver side inside grille just to be sure - I block it of in winterwith a swiss cheese looking piece of perspex(F$#kin cold here!!).

Checked all the senders and rad while running and hasnt been above 78 degs(74 deg thermostat). I dont fuss over the readings - as long as the needle is within the C and the H - you are laughing.

Hooroo
