plain jane rubber which only held the window in

and proper rubber with a locking bead in the middle

Tex is good. I brought Tex S/S wiper & arms in from UK 8 years ago, they are still bright & shiny... :D

Best thing you can do is haggle, ring around then when you have the cheapest price go around again with that as a starting price.

First is makes sure that you get the best price
Second if allows to suppliers to get a feel for what is the "selling" price in the market
Third it help you recommend to mates where to go....hehe

I was quoted 5K for a Metro 1275 engine G/box from one shister. He has them sitting in his shop foyer, and will continue to do so till no one drives minis anymore. I ended talking to you guys and found an enthusiast who supplied it to me for $850 and he though he was over pricing it to me at the time.

Rememder always feed the best price you have back into the supply market as it will make things change. Simply hanging up once you have the price wont effect the market price.

Finally a word for AWDMOKE, I was in the nuts a bolt industry on the supply market. I supplied to the big boys in distribution and they would order in crap quantities of say 100 XOX. Now I would sell to them at 91.5% off list. If you were buying at 80% off list that means the supplier is probably making 130% profit. Makes you think yeah...
