Catch Tank=

ALL breathers to be plumbed into it. Also called a 'puke' tank.

So when all the high rev driving makes your rings blow all the fumes out the other way, no oil goes onto the track. Simple safety stuff.

at said racetracks, or places formerly used by police for their driver training like at ST IVES hereein sydeny. just do a google search for advanced driver courses in VIC. lots of tracks to choose from - Calder, Winton (good for minis), Philip Island, Sandown. VMC will have plenty of events to test yourself at

And in Tassie, Symmonds Plains is a pretty ordinary circuit for minis but Baskerville is meant to be the best, nice and twisty and closer to Hobart.

Phillip Island? Not that far, really. I dunno about practice days, though. You would have to find out from the owners of the track. Mallala practice days aren't run by CAMS, just the private owner.

Even so, all you need is:

An oil catch tank, 2 Ltr Minimum,
Blue triangle on the boot to show the position of the battery,
Contact over the headlights,
1 Kilo fire extinguisher,
An approved seatbelt.

Oh, and a current CAMS license.

ya dont need a oil catch can i think :?
