So if that run at Wakefield got your blood racing dont forget you can go FULL racing next year. THe Mini Racing Series has a "Road Registered Category" for Hybrids and Standard Minis. If you were doing anywhere between 1:17 and 1:19 on Thursday that would have put you mid field and ahead of a few Purpose built race minis.

You dont need a CAMS licence just a Wakefield Competition licence.

Oran Park and Eastern Creek now both have L2s Licence days. An L2s Licence is easy to get you just need to download and fill in form on CAMS web page. The only other requirement is 2 forms of bonett lock, blue triangle for battery and fire extinguisher and it's a hell of a lot closer than Wakefield.

From Memory Eastern Crek Practice days are about $120 which is a bit exy but it is the only International motor racing circuit in the country now and worth a go at least once.

Oran Park is teh better choice. Mid week is only $80. THe only probalms are that they do not run them all the time like Wakefield . THey have abou 1 2LS licence day per month.

Worth doing cause Oran park is as fun as Wakefield and a heap closer. I will get some dates and do a post here.

The short circuit at Oran is a lot of fun and the dogleg is very interesting but there is not a lot of room for run off :D super mini lap record is held by Clyde Lee and Rocky Canto at 47.7 which I think still stands and the place suits minis, Eastern creek the only international race track ? I think you forgot a little place called Phillip Island :D but the creek has a bit more run off room but is not that mini friendly, its a power circuit but still fun

I didnt forget Phillip ISland. Phillip Island is only a registered Internation Motor Cycle racing circuit. Eastern Creek is the only Motor Rcaing ( sorry I should have said cars) International circuit.

Isn't Mt panorama still certified by virtue of the GTP and Porsche Cup etc categories. Even though the V8 supercars aren't. It's the circuit which is certified afterall.

We'll keep trawling and may uncover another!
