Geez if I was storing a car for 7 years I would have a cover over it at least and not use it to support other junk in the shed like gates etc

Did any one else notice that the engine is a 1,275 litre?!?

My god. I dont even know cars that well but i know thats false. This is a pet hate of mine. The fuel tanks cant even hold that much fuel, yet the sellers dont even use a little bit of common sense!

you will see that on almost every mini action on ebay...when they are referring to the engine size.. ie. a 1100cc engine they write 1,100 Litre...etc. and when you are listing it you can only write full numbers i think

Sometimes peopel want it to look "forgotten" so then others think it will just drive out like it did when it was first put there.

I dont know much (anything) about GT's but something in my waters says that this one aint real... :(

Seller emailed me the chassis and engine numbers.

it's NOT a GT.

It does have a 1275, but again, not an early GT motor.

Non of the piss weak pics show any of the GT features, i doubt its a genuine GT, but that won't stop heaps of numb nuts bidding on it & taking his word that it's genuine.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

standard european practice is to use a comma , to indicate the decimal places. standard aussie, uk and us practice is to use a dot . to indicate the decimal places. ebay lets you do either cos its used everywhere

i came to the same conclusion as JAM after the guy sent me the numbers - he wouldn't say what the reserve was, but at currently around a grand with a 1275 in pieces and disk brakes, twin carbs and twin tanks (depedendent upon condition), that ain't too bad. doubt it will stay there tho'. nice to know what he would accept.

When my car first got stolen I chased this guy for around 6 weeks just trying to get a LOOK at it. He avoided me like the plague as soon as I started quizing him about numbers. I called him constantly and he just simply would not talk to me.
