Don't forget to open the rockers up by .003" approx, or it will be a dog down low.
eg for a Kent 276 etc run .018 not .016".

I run my Russell RE-13 at .020" with 1.5s, 'coz that's what the man said.. 8)

i'm not sure what you mean by a half hemi on the crank hole but i guess that means i dont have one

can i pull that end plate off with the engine in the car.. i cant imagine why not but i better make sure that i wont gut something i shouldnt if i try, and i do have a drill press... will i require a gasket that i didnt buy if i take that plate off?

also how high is the oil level? does it come as high as the crank.. am i gunna make a mess if i take that plate off?.. i'ver never seen an oil level that high but then ive never seen rubber uni joints before (except for in my grandfather 37 crysler, actually i think his is leather)

The 2 bottom holes in the plate (under the crank) need countersinking, then you use csk Unbrako screws to hold the plate on. The standard hex screws there will foul the wider chain.

It CAN be done in the car but it's easier with it out. Not much room for a power drill and CSK bit in there, and it's hard to see too.
