The rear louvre is more early eighties Tom Selleck, Magnum PI cool, you know with the moustache and the 308 ferrari.

A rear venetien is Grampa

I see it more as:
Rear louvre thing = Granny
Front sunvisor thing = Grampa
Rear venetian goes both ways. :D

If you can paint it smoothly, ie: without texture, paint it yellow with the black stripes on it. I reckon it'd look hot.

The black stripes don't suit the white roof though, just my personal opinion.

i like the rear venetian..
but maybe not for your car ss..
it might look a bit peculiar
because your car looks sporty with the stripes..
