yep, since i got it, but we only noticed it since we fixed the thrust bearing and wheel bearing... cos it was too loud to notice it before...

clubby's have pot joints, and i doubt it would be that,

having had the problem you are describing on a few minis, the most likely is the exhaust hitting the body, this can be caused by the exhaust just being too close or by the engine moving about too much from worn engine steadies/mounts.


its less likely but i have seen, the gear change mechanism sitting too close to the body, and it did knock about

and also a common cause of the knock, on back-off and reaccelerate is a worn diff, not much you can do about that besides taking it apart.

ahh ok kewl... it only happens when u accelerate as well.. not when you decelerate...
