That's why I think it's to the stage of getting someone to look at it , either an ausminier or a mech who know's mini's , got to be worth it for peace of mind .

spose...dont know anything about late model clubmans :) i just said it sounded like the noise my mini made when it threw a U bolt...probably wouldnt have said it if i'd known he didnt have them :)

Engine gearbox and diff combo could have come from anywhere though :roll: makes it difficult :(

yeah - taking down to a mini mechanic soon, getting confused now
anyway thanks everyone for advice

Perth mini people need to get together - it seems a lonely existance owning a mini sometimes - any ideas or events people could attend would be good, you know a chance to chat about our beloved cars etc

There is a cruise up to Mundaring Wier on Sunday 12 March

Come to Whiteman Park(up your way)on March 19th(Sunday).This is the annual Classic Car Show.Lots and Lots of friendly Perth Mini people get together on this day.You can chat and look at as many Mini's as you like :D :D
