Don't fret about the mini giving you grief they all do that. Since i've had NAV (he was given to me free) I have re-built the engine, fixed some rust, re-built the gearbox, replaced the exhaust and today i'm fixing even more rust  .

I'm in Chermside so not too far away if you want a hand.
I could even let you loose in NAV to get you all enthusiastic again.

Check your fuses for the electrical problems or a bad connection as the wiring loom was new. With the age of the gauges it's a fair chance that your temp gauge is like the horses (knackered). Ask the guys at work to see if someone has a spare one to try.

Speedo is non electrical so either u have a broken speedo cable or like the horses it might be knackered. If it needs a rebuild go and see LIonel Otto Instuments at Salisbury. He's GOOD.

Your ticking could be from the fuel u are using. If u r using unleaded go for Premium as a minimum. Check that your carbies aren't running to lean either. Twins are great when working properly but give no end of problems when not (like mine at times).

Jeremy's a good looking, quick little mini so it's a shame he is playing up. I'm having to do work on mine just about every week or so (shame it's usually on the way to or from work on the side of the road or in the middle occasionally  . But who cares at the end of the day it's a mini)

8) 8) 8)

Hey Jess

I am in brissy too (in the bayside) there are lots of people in brissy that can help you
out so it will all turn out for the best.

Your mini wouldn't happen to be a light blue cooper bought from the wynnum area
would it?

Roundy

I'm from the bayside as well :D
