Type: YMA2S2
Body number: 35312
Engine number: 9YA/Ta/H 36504

I've just acquired a 67 Deluxe

Type-- YMA2S2
Car No-- 32773
Colour-- 1 / Jay Blue / 3

The engine has been replaced with an 1100 I believe

It's currently blue but I'm not sure it's the original blue, but we're gearing it up for a respray soon anyway :)
It's kinda cool spotting the differences between my mini and my brother-in-law's mini which are only 206 cars apart (See Andy's post from previous page)

My Deluxe is YMA2S2 1025, 1965 model. Original motor 9YaTaH 1704. ceramic green originally. Floor pans are 850 without the channels for the hydro lines and the magic wand hole filled in. Door latches on the B pillar are 850 with plates welded over with the winding window style latches attached. This was done at the factory I believe.

It is a work in progress.

Here's a related thread:
http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic ... sc&start=0

Quoted from one of my posts in that thread:
"One of my Dad's cars is 33015 and has a wiper motor (almost certainly the original one) stamped 04/68.

His other car is 27568 and has a wiper motor (again, believed to be the original one) stamped 10/67. "

My deluxe is 32129 - no rad. cowl, and not the original wiper motor, engine or gearbox.

You will have quite a Gap in your numbers as some of the Deluxes grew up now and became a "Genuine" Cooper S.

Our family bought quite a few new Minis back in the 60's and 70's, here is an original purchase invoice for a brand new Mini Deluxe we bought back in 1968. Hopefully some of the details on it may be useful.
