put whateva oil you you want in it, just change it every 4000-5000kms and you'll be fine

We still use BP Corse Plus.I have just brought a 20litre Drum,as we use Corse Plus in the LS,the GT,the Innocennti and the Motorkhana Specials.Have used Corse Plus(25w-60) for years. No problems buying over here in the West :)

my mini aint up and running yet, but i put penrite hpr 30 in my corolla and change it every 5k - the mini will be getting the same when its on the road (will be put off for a while as im heading overseas again for an unknown period)

Castrol Formula R 25W/50.
When I've used my last 4 bottles it'll be this same stuff, now repackaged as Castrol Edge Sport 25W/50 and sold for more $$. :x

I use Penrite HPR30 and I change it every 4000km.
I get a 20 litre drum from Supercrap whenever they have a special.

It dosen't really matter what oil you run as long as it is clean and fresh and made from mineral oil.
Don't run Synthetics because they don't handle the sheer loadings in the gearboxes.

Also, synthetics don't cling well to the rapidly rotating Mini camshaft. It's hanging there in space, not like a Jap crap etc OHC motor where the cams all swim in an oil bath. :lol:
Castrol Formula R 25W/50 was supposedly concocted to protect cam and lifters in Larry Perkins' V8 racers, which allegedly have the same problems. 8)

Brad, can't go past Castrol Formula R 25W/50, I don't use anything else. And as everyone else has said, change it regularly.
