My paint work is faultless, even tho its been on the car since 2001!! And so it should be, it cost me $8000. Just seems every other so called show car has em!!!

My car still gets driven, usually from my joint to the esplanade in town n home so maybe a 20k round trip and yes i am very selective as to when to drive it!!! Only blue sky n no suspicious looking clouds. Dosnt stop people hangin crap on me tho!

I gave it the full treatment the other month, Mothers paint prep, sealer n glaze n a good hit of canubra wax.

yes true and fair enough I appreciate what you are saying but most of those scratches happen during the washing of the vehicle as most people use cheap crappy stuff they actually think is fine (no say you do) they also the applying of wax/polish to vehicles.

My paint job is $14,000 dollars worth (160 hours in body prep) not that I paid him no where near that much so I do hope it will look good years down the track with the proper paint care. Gotta love the Brazilian wax

Mine will be very similar to your driving just on a nice sunny Sunday afternoon (stereotype)

I wash mine with a chamois Enka-fill brand, the orange ones, use Mothers car wash, have a chamois for washing the car, 1 for drying the car, 1 for cleaning the wheels, i for drying the wheels, 1 for the engine bay, 1 for drying the engine bay, and one for the interior.........

Overboard a bit, but like u say thats where a lot of scratches come from, polishing is all done by hand and thats another overboard job as well!!!!!!

CLEANLINESS

well its close to pure silver, the way i matched it was to get a shade darker than my wheels so its sort of a custom colour. as the same as the white roof.
