Camel your a farmer from way back.
I'm sure you have done this before but with a horse or Cow..the only differnace it won't kick you once you have finished with it.

Well, i must says i am very prooud of myself :D and very happy.
I have just spent the past 2 hours FIXING my speedo cable :) .

It was awesome.
here is the inside after i decided to pull on anything that looked like it could be pulled, even though i knew it wasnt going to help,
But i broke not much, and it all slotted back into place, so i was happy in the end.

But i found the speedo home in firewall,
and somehow i managed to get my arm in down somewhere in the engine bay to unscrew and rescrew the end nut on the speedo cable to the box, and once again i was happy, as my arm/hand only got raped by the engine and surrounds a few times, so im only missing a little bit of skin :)

It was great fun :!:
Very happy, as now, after about 870 days of mini ownership, i, have now, a speedo needle, that, does, not wobble incoherently at every passing chance. It stays level and accelerates with the car and stays still 8)
