For the redord, my collaboration with Graham has netted benefits on both sides. For instance - my association with Piper has proven benefits because they are interested ion developing/enhancing A-sereis cams - unlike mother resting on their 'laurels'. Cutting a long story short, Piper have a cam that fills the only gap in Graham Russells cam arsenal - the HR255. A superb road cam that gives smooth idle, loads of torque, low emissions and is very strong up to 6,000rpm. If this sounds a familiar claim its because the SW5 is almsot identical to the HR255. So Graham is going to be selling the HR255 profile. Fair trade. KC

sounds good, as i dont think the SW5 is easily available over here without waiting for it to be shipped over and paying postage etc, something we didnt have the luxury of waiting for during our engine rebuild, that and a 3.1 crownwheel and pinion

a cammy motor as a daily driver gets very tiring very quick.

i have used both cams and find they are both great but are different in every sense
i got more power form the RE13 but got more torque form the sw5 i wish there was a happy mix between the 2.
Im sure when graham gets the HPR cam he will have a play as its in his nature to improve all the time
look forward ot more developemtn as i have just stuck my 1380 back into my car for the first time since havein the 1430 with 308 cam in it. ill see how it goes tommorrow and see if i miss all the power the 1430 was producing.

I've seen the KC articles of 1030 and 1360 motors here in the UK........ both with RE13 cams. Which cam is Keith using, two are sold in the UK RE13OT and RE13PP?

I know of 1 as well.
ahem.

the ones he sells are set up specifically for small bore and big bore motors.by changing one part of them cam it makes them perform better in different motors.
i wont say any more or ill get shot.
