Chris
It would be very fitting for you to buy it and become the collector and purveyor of the very rarest mini's. The LS is a very common car by comparison - waddaya want for it.

We rent a container for a whole lot less that - in fact $25 a fortnight - that way it can sit dry and safe until you get to it.

I would get grumpy about procreating mini's in my nice suburban house as well

If you want to store a car out of the rain, park it in my backyard. 8)

The Suntastic Special is doing a roaring trade with less than 2 hours left. A few names from here.
There might be some life for the old girl yet.

Ok so I have bought this "suntastic" panel van. Basicly it's a 1978 leyland van with a few bolt on features. From what I can see the factory/dealer differences are:
Vertically striped seats and rear bed
Bubble rear windows
Suntastic striped decals
Pop up sun roof
Roof rack

The car is very original with everything complete including the van jack still in plastic. The engine is matching numbers 998cc with pollution gear. Looks like the wiring is unmolested.

Rust on the other hand isn't great, mainly the sills rh, floors arnt bad. I've certainly seen a lot worse!

The question is! Is this car worth anything being a Suntastic or is it just another 78 van??

Pictures to come when I work that bit out!

Holy thread resurrection batman :-) >> 2006 . 2013 ... :-)

If you are going to rebuild it why not start a build thread in the members section i would love to see some pics of it.

As for extra value in it i wouldnt know but it does sound unquie .

Cheers Bill
