As James knows a few of us have been in and out of minis constantly - you cant get them out of your system. I'm on my way out again also looking for a buyer - but I'll be back as well.

I alwasy likes the idea of a 998 turbo.

Thanks Anton - appreciate it.

I think the next big project will be emptying the shed / garage...
That'll take me a year or so.. by then i should have a few more helpers around the hours who might actually listen

Plan is currently to get a jag at about the end of '07 and go from there....
But definitely a year off ... going to concentrate on my Playing and Family.

Cheers all
J

Geez, dont do that. No where near as much fun as a mini. But then again you dont have THE CURSE so it may be OK.

When you start pumping kids out, you do need something bigger. It was too good of a car to be left sitting around.

I always saw this car as kind of an inspiration, and the little slogan down the bottom in Jim's sig as the kind of dedication that the mini community needs. I think it's sad to see the mini go, but there is always the chance that whoever bought it will make it better than ever, and James' new foray into mini modification is even more extreme and worthwhile.

Best of luck with whatever you decide to do, and thankyou for bringing the craziest smallblock mini in this country to the attention of all Ausminiers! You should be proud. :)

well jim im sad to hear you sold it, but i know as i just sold the motor out of my car to help finance other things, i have just spent the last week throwing a motor together to drive around in as my mate who i havetn seen in 6 years is about to land here and i really want to show him my mini and how quick it is.

My condolencies mate but hey you did it and any one else who does it is only copying you.
think of it that way.

"and any one else who does it is only copying you"

Although I adapted the Janspeed Metro idea, I'm actualy proud to say that i know of at least 2 setups that are copying my ideas ...

Certainly started a few people talking....

And Josh, you are right.. I'll get itchy soon, buy something and scare the crap out of a whole heap of people all over again .....(yea, the moke idea has never left me... just put on hold . . . . )
