It's your car paint it whatever you like.
If you want it red it may as well be the original red.
If you don't keep it original it may as well be any colour at all.
I think my repaint of the K will be Jet Red cos once I start to think about some thing else it sort of wanders between Red/White roof, Subaru metallic blue or current Mazda yellow. See what I mean, I think this one will be Jet Red

wot he said... ^^^^
I considered a white roof, or other reds.
White roofs are for Coopers, IMO. And there are so many reds.....
Buggerit, it'll be Jet Red again. 8)

I really like Ford Monza Red with a Jet White roof, I think thats what i will have to paint her.

When I get a place to piant her do I have to remove windows or anything or is that all under the prices?

It will all depend on the deal you do with the panel/paint shop.

For example, when i had mine painted i had them do the lot. if i had of completely stripped the car i would of saved $1000. It just depends hpw much time and know how you have, versus money. If i had the time, i would have stripped my car, but i had to go to unni and work, and ... and.... and.... so in my case it worked out better for me to just drop the complete car off to them, and let them do it all.

Mine and Docs photos of Jet red seems to be a little bit too far off to be an accurate gauge of the colour. Jet red should be more orange. The Scarlet O'Hara red seems to be closer to Jet Red than my own picture.
