Didn't go.... :x
I got too busy at work to get away with boats coming and going.

I've consoled myself with a GTEC PRO RR. datalogs and downloadable to computer software

If you get the weight of the car spot on, the physics apear to be pretty accurate.

I'm got a lambda sensor and engine datalogger on the build as well. Couple this with the GTECH and it should put together a pretty interesting picture of what's going on.

I wouldn't do all this for the mini usually, but I bought the GTECH while a mate paid for the lambda datalogger to use on his Pulsar GTIR race cars, so why not have some fun.

I have been playing with te Gtech, what a great little item!
I have problems getting it to read RPM as it works off the AC ripple produced at the Alternator, and the regulator is silencing them. The effect is that I can't get a proper HP/Torque dyno curve at the moment until I sort that out. The rest rocks!

Using the GTECH PRO RR these are the figures I got for a local 1/4 mile strip of road.

16.44secs @ 83 MPH
and it measures 61 HP max at the tyres.
(1310, RE13, Pulsar Dizzy, Twin 1.25 SUs, Standard Mk2 S head, Maniflow LCB)
It looks like there might be more work to do on the girl yet to get the mixtures right....
The dip in HP on the graph is because of aerodynamic drag as the car goes faster.

I'd like to see other Gtech results. What's the rough calculation for flywheel HP?
