I had one of those!

Had to change a wheel on an 850 at the side of the road several years ago. I was on a back road in the Otways probably 20km from the nearest town. I jacked it up with the factory jack, took off the old tyre and put the new tyre on the wheel studs. Just as I was putting the nuts on finger tight the thread on the jack stripped and the car came down with a thump. :shock:

Fortunately I was well clear of the car!

I just lifted the car up far enough to get the trolley jack under it. Not gonna try it with the oldie's commodore though LOL
