my 1275 runs great all year round, however on a early morning breakfast run to mudgee with the austin healey car club the outside air temp was quite low, the carbies were starting to ice up. drove the later part with the choke out (then stalled in main street of mudgee).

In extreme heat it hates idling in traffic...temp needle will rise to just under hot and it starts idling erratically, once the traffic is flowing again it coughs, splutters and backfires (occasionally) until the temp comes back down to midway. Actually come to think of it pushing it up mountain passes in warmer weather makes the temp rise quite a bit. hmmm might have to investiage the cooling system...
