Only 7 cars, a trailer, a beer fridge, and a pile of house doors in our garage. Could fit 3 more cars in.... if i was allowed to

As for previous owners..... well, the next owner of my first mini rubbed back the roof but never primed or painted it. Can we say surface rust? DAMN!!! He then sold it to a guy who gave it an immaculate restoration job. One of these 2 guys managed to change it from a Morris 850 to a Morris 1100, VIN plates and all  Typical Adelaide...

lol, the one at the front is actually in really good condition (the grey one). its usually covered and on planks. I need to build another shed, so many mini parts sitting outside.

the inside of the garage has some neat stuff, but its the biggest bloody mess at the moment. it hasnt been cleaned up since we started the matic resto.. about 2 years ago. we have a block and tackle style hoist thats on rails and runs width ways across the roof, at one stage we had 2 minis next to each other, makes engine transplants simple :)

actually thinking of building a pit right around where that grey mini is. and another storage shed behind this one for all the mini parts and shells that are sitting outside.

when i bought my Mini back in 96, it looked fairly neat and tidy, and we even had a part time mechanic with us, who checked underneath and all and gave us an all clear.

about 6months later, i noticed that when i washed it, the little bugger was dry within 2 minutes. couldn't for the life of me work out why.

turns out the the previous owner didn't like the colour of the faded roof, so had decided to paint the entire thing himself - with a paintbrush! as if that wasn't bad enough, he didn't have enough time/paint to do two coats, so he added an entire tin of enamel in to the paint and off he went. little wonder it was never wet - the water went straight in to the paint!

he also did a lot of the mechanical work himself ... since then, i've had to replace the engine, as well as the complete brake system, as well as have shorts in the wire fixed where he decided to do some home handywork. at least when i did that with my radio, i had the common sense to put a fuse at each end! 8)
