OK guys problem fixed. Here is a pic of the old head gasket. You can see circled in red the bit missing between cylinder 1 and 2.

Note: If you have the head off change the bypass hose no matter what condition its in.
I say this because i didn't I had to remove the radiator, fan, alternator and water pump to fit a new one.

Can someone post some pics of the mod to make the radiator easy to remove the ones on the how to are not working
