Meh... just convert it to hydro, like I'm doing the Clubby van... 8)

Were there factory vans and utes with hydro ? I had a flintstones (absolutely no floor) genuine mini pickup once that was hydro suspended but didn't know if it was standard or someone had bent up the pipes to suit the longer wheelbase .

I just fitted some new rubber cones to the back of the LS and boy did it make a difference to the ride. I am getting new ones fitted to the front next week so hopefully the ride should be a lot smoother than it is now...

I found a clubby that had been wrecked a long time ago and took that ones, 1. they were much better cones than I had and two they had a lot less use. Also the rear ones were front ones, obviously replaced at some stage so I got a few spare cones now that can be used for front or rear. The 850 rear cones didn't have that thread in them for cone compressing, but clubby's did. (did they change over at some stage to having all front type cones?)

No, all commercials were dry.
But this one will carry bugger all, and I want it to ride nice. Like a Morris 1100... 8)

That's what I thought , so someone had at some stage converted this one as well , what pipes are you using for the extra length then ?

The landcrab(1800) ute was hydro, apparantly there can be issues if you load them up too much due to the weight transfur.
hydro van will be nice doc, but why not just buy an 1100 estate

as for the dry ride thing, coilovers wont give you a softer ride, somone mentioned the lil springs you can replace the cones with, i had been told the quality and usefullness is questionable ?
