Hi,

I've got a similiar setup, 6 x 10s (miniators) and, suprise suprise, dunlop formula R's :)

Yep, the tyres stick out. What can you do? Unless you are lacking in the negative camber department, all you can do is add some sort of material to cover the tyre, whether it be solid rubber, aluminium or plastic/fibreglass. It can't be sharp (test: run finger along it quickly).

Me: I've order group 5, 3.5 inch wide rims from the UK. Not interested in mucking around with a solution (can make custom aluminium templates etc.) Incidently they cost me AU$78 for the flares and $142 for the shipping!! Still cheap, just a bitch to mail.

Question - you are not running spacered drums on the back? This would be the reason they don't stick out at the rear. Mine do :)

Good luck.

Yeah I am (rear step drums). I did some sussing and measuring, they stick out equally at the front and the rear, just the angle of looking i guess :? . I got rear camber brackets from minisport too as I don't trust my welding on making my own. I got em to get the handling in order. So right now i'm getting my handling sorted as it's my main limitation. For the hillclimb I had enough power just kept on sliding too much! Now the front steering is fixed I'll just make the rest of car handle nice too. When the handlings nice them my new limitation will be power, followed by bank balance!

Yeah I will, when I put the camber brackets on, the rear at least. the rear should come in a bit and be less noticible. Today looking at it, i've decided to, at the moment do nothing as it's only noticible if you look at it right on form right behine and yeah, so not obvious.
