I went to watch a drag racing thingo a few years back at AIR. It was alright, too many dodgy cars with big engines tho.... Anyways there was a magna there, which was rather crap doing big burnouts, and loud exhaust noises but getting beaten by a Datsun 180B
he getting about 16 second passes. I saw the guy who owned it later on at a car show at Wayville showgrounds and I asked him what mods were done. He said it's pretty stock, it's got a mandren bent exhaust...I said "and you bothered to drag it?" He said Magnas are really good drag cars except his was only running on 3 cylinders (it was a V6) then I sais it didn;t sound rough and he said magnas run well smooth no matter how many cylinders are working....
I walked off at that point.
