Excellent!
Is the 'Peoples Choice Award' popular with shows over there?
We don't have it over here, which I don't particularly like, as you tend to find the same people winning every year because of their 'mint' Mini, which sits in the garage and only attends the one or two closer-to-home big shows.
Two awards I've always said I'd have if ever I had anything to do with a Mini show, was a, as you call it, a 'Peoples Choice Award', and a 'Furthest Travelled Award'.
Not enough people appreciate the like-minded people that go to great distances to attended as many runs and shows as they can, whilst their Mini is running daily in all weathers, doing high mileage, and always an 'on-going' project!
Who am I to talk, sorry for being a bit bias..

Same here mate. Nearly the same cars everytime. The yellow ute didn't win as it's a bit boring now. I've seen it so many times and guess what...I't snever differnt. Probably because the owner feels it's eprfect, and we'll it is, but people like Cush (and me

) should get a chance win just by having their car differnt every year. Should make a rule that no -car can win the same catagory two years in a row or something, to give the competition some interest.
At hotbricks we we're dicussing having more novelty awards such as "best roof lining" so people with less money and skills to work on their car can focus on one thing and amke it the best/craziest.
But as said above who am I to say anything.....
