Last night someone got into my car and nicked my toolset (cheapie ~$50), my ****ing shoes ($20 kmart no shoelaces runners) and my ****ing 3 bags of lollies in the glove box.

$400 stereo untouched.

Go figure. I had passengers and I think we left the passenger side not shut properly when I left the car at their house for 40 mins or so before heading home as everything was locked tight when I went to get my toolbox out this morning to find it wasn't there. And I know it was there last night before we went to their house because they had to have it on their lap.

Stupid thieves fiddle sticks off.

You have my sympathies.

Back when I lived in Edinburgh, I had a side window of my scruffy old Mercedes W124 smashed only for the thieving sods to take a cheap (& non assembled) pine IKEA hat & coat rack (worth $20 tops)!!

Can't understand the mentality of these scumbags at all.

Cost me the equivalent of well over $200 for a new window too

The nice part was that the Police offered to try and take fingerprints off the car. Who'd have thought they would have bothered with that?
