Then again, if you wanted bling, you could always just bling your teeth, I think you would get the same response....

wow thats one blinged up Mini. Great for a collection but couldn't drive it as not only would it blind you and other drivers but you wouldn't want it scratched or anything. what a great Mini though where did you find the car/image?

I read a thing on it a while ago in a "story of the mini" style book. It said 'completely chromed' not chrome sprayed...so I imagine they electro-plated the whole vehicle. It would pretty heavy I'd think.... 8)

There are a few people out there who have done it. This Audi A8 was the first completely chrome car I'd ever seen.

It'd be interesting to find out what the full story of the Audi is , it's been around in several emails so far , one claiming the panels were specially made from pure silver , another claiming silver plated .....

I'd go with BIAM here as aluminium doesn't chrome well, or in some cases at all. (I've seen aluminium rocker covers on cars that have been chromed and you can see it flakming off! ) So i'd say it's ultra polished aluminium. Of course only if BIAM has his facts right, I can't be bothered to research it so I'll agree.
