I found this out the hard way. Stick with an alternator, at least they've got ball races.

That's not the only reason. We revved one so hard on an Imp that the commutator bars gained escape velocity... :P

Which is probably why it is one of the mandatory subjects, too many people have NFI (no offense 1018cc)

I passed it but out of all my subjects it was my lowest (I only got a C for it)

ive got an altinator but i am changing that as soon as the loom goes in,

what should i go for, 60 or 75 amp, im not going to have a whopping stereo in there but will be rather basic, but it may need to jump start the celica more than often
