I am in a similar position. I have never driven nor even been taken for a drive in a mini. So I am kinda eager , a little nervous and probly even desperate to get it finished. It would be nice something back from it instead of busting my ass to rebuild the thing.

You should ask to hitch a ride on the next Adelaide cruise (if there ever is one!) as it's an experience I tell ya! First ride in a mini of mine was Steve Goss's 1380 racing mini....Wow, it was amzing being able to power past ricers at the lights. Ahh, my dream! But just driving one is amazing, I always think when I go out, with someone else, "dam I wish I was driving my mini..."

It's not just about the fun of driving it the looks you get! Just driving down to 'ss wanab's house the other day to get some parts I had every person on the side of the road look at my car as if they have never seen one before! Plus the very common thumbs up!

At least you can drive yours Cush.

The most ive had is 2 very short shotgun rides in RIBENA in the past 12 months...... and they were both in the past 2 weeks.

I loved it so much that it hurt.

when I crashed my first mini and was waiting to see what insurance would do i was really missing my mini. I used to go and sit in it and read a book if i had nothing to do. Sometimes I would go and read it bedtime stories
