I`ll be comming down with Stew & Cuz (Chris) staying at the Canberra motor village at Oconner

The event is a 5 day job, start practising wednesday right thru till sunday then racing starts after lunch on sunday.

There`s cross country racing, (not for me, too much like hard work pedalling all day bugga that),,, 4x racing which is sooper dooper exciting/fast/crashes/stacks/accidents/usually lots of blood & carnage,,, Trials which is soo tricky, balance skills essential & defies gravity & physics,,,& of course the main event is the Down Hill Race after lunch on sunday.

Then the best part & the whole reason for driving all that way, is the "After Party",,, now this can be a bit elusive if you`re not in the know gotta hang out with the right crowd,,, er,,, ar... um... maybe that should read "The Wrong crowd"

& i will definately be taking a quick trip to Fyshwick to pick up some "Bang Bang",,, no,,, not that sort of bang bang,,, I mean the ones you light with a fuse & throw, i have some payback to deliver to a mechanic friend of mine when i get back hee hee,,, Marrinelli performance & mechanical at Yamanto, my old mate Troy has it comming.

No offence intended here but--> anyone writing a book about minis 30 years ago may not have experienced such worn or stuffed-with components as we are finding these days.
