Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

to change the spark plugs on the jag

- remove the cruise control
- remove the airconditioning pump
- remove the air filters
- remove the throttle tower capstain
- remove the Fuel Injection Manifold x2
- find the sepcial tool for remving the plugs that are installed at a 45 degree angle
- break three plugs no matter how carefully you do

as compared to the Moke
- remove plugs

apart from having to be double jointed and have hands of a six year old the mini is easy.

My poor hands can attest to that, trying to get to some crazy bolts. Plus, you have a jigsaw puzzle effect of.. this goes on, but not before this, and that has to go on, but it won't fit on with this.. then.. damn, just tightened it all up and forgot those!

the trick is to go in through the glovebox saves having to remove all that other stuff

my 86 navara ute i had was interesting to work on it had plenty of room it was just a paint cause it was so high standing at the front the bonnet was a t your chest height so i would stand one foot on the bullbar the other in the enginebay and work from above was quite funny as it didnt fit up the side where the mini is so i did it in the driveway so the neighbours would always come investiggate to see what the hell i was doing good advantage was even i could fit under it without needing a jack

cheers bob
