I thought the mk3 cooper had internal door handles? Or was that only in the UK?

My understanding was the cooper s mk3 was the UK version with internal hinges as well , we only went to mk2 here . I haven't got a problem with people referring to the last of the mk2's with the clubman handles and tail lights mk3's but wonder what the official stance is , were they ever classed as mk3 from BMC ???

Australian built S's only were badged as "Morris Cooper S" and then "Morris Cooper S Mk11"

I have never seen anything from Leyland stating that there was a Mk2 let alone a Mk3. They were all badged as Morris Cooper S, they never had a Mk2 badge (unlike the MGB :wink: )
