heh heh Chris good point :D

i always forget that people who want to turbocharge or supercharge minis always go for those atrocious old fashioned carby draw through systems, including the metro turbo one. these are the reasons that they never took off with manufacturers in a big way in the first place.

always thought that the way to do it properly on an A series is to put a cross flow head (choose your poison) and inject it, with the turbo sitting above the clutch cover.

oh well - back to dreaming

In a draw thru setup, the inlet pipe between the carby and blower will always have negative pressure (vacuum) in it, where as the pipe from the blower to the head will have POSITIVE pressure (boost) , the amount of pressure dependant on the RPM of the blower.

This means that the pipe from the carby to the blower will basically have the same internal environment as an inlet manifold on a normal mini. You CAN run a vaccum pipe off this inlet pipe.

Kapish?
